MACH FRAUD MANAGEMENT |
|
According to the Communications Fraud Control Association, annual fraud losses in the Telecommunications industry are estimated to be in excess of USD 40 billion worldwide. On top of this, 80% of all Telecom companies have stated that global fraud losses are still increasing. Roaming fraud is estimated to be around 10% of the overall total. The total annual losses of operators to roaming fraud amount to over USD 4 billion worldwide.
MACH Fraud Management assists operators in minimising roaming fraud, enabling you to:
• Improve on GSMA specifications.
• Implement improved fraud management to prevent different types of roaming fraud.
• Reduce the costs of anti-fraud activities.
• Deploy analysis tools to identify fraudulent IMSIs and their patterns.
MACH Data Express - NRTRDE (Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange) deployment via our NRTRDE platform not only provides early visibility of roaming subscribers, it also ensures that roaming fraudsters are detected early and will limit any fraud loss to an absolute minimum.
MACH High Usage Report (HUR) - an essential tool for monitoring, collecting and analysing traffic information to build strong preventive measures and enable action against roaming fraud. The report fulfils the visited network’s obligation to send detailed HUR (High Usage Reports) on suspected or detected fraudulent usage of visited network services to the home network, as specified by the GSMA.
MACH Basic HPMN Fraud - a fraud prevention service which assists operators to prevent hopping roaming fraud. Hopping roaming fraud involves a subscriber misusing a subscription on several networks and is one of the most common fraud types within international roaming today.
MACH HPMN Premium Fraud - an enhanced version of the MACH Basic HPMN Fraud service. It provides a fully customised scoring and IMSI profiling functionality system which provides the HPMN operator with an accurate profile of the activity of IMSIs exceeding predefined thresholds when roaming abroad.
