Test your readiness for Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange

Did you know?
  • That fraudsters have many ways of obtaining SIM cards and that a typical ‘heavy loss’ fraud attack may involve up to 20 cards gained from the home operator.
  • That, within 24 hours of activation, the SIM cards will be sent abroad and inserted into an automatic calling computer, usually on a Friday.
  • Each SIM card will make as many conference calls as possible (up to 6 concurrent calls).
  • A loss rate of 8,000 CDRs per hour can be reached.
  • That the detection delay of the average GSM operator exceeds 36 hours.
  • That on Monday morning the home operator is unable to do much about it.

The GSMA requires you to have Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) fully implemented and running by 1st October 2008.

MACH can help you to be at the forefront and can now already begin to detect possible fraudsters on your network. To test where you are on the path to becoming fully compliant with NRTRDE please click here.
