29-31 October 2007 - Vienna, Budapest
Lodewijk Cornelis, Chief Sales Officer at MACH recently presented “Forecasting regional growth of the Roaming market and the impact of falling roaming prices on revenues to 2011” at Mobile Roaming.
Lodewijk presented a health check of the Roaming business, focusing on the pre- and post-Reding era (the traffic patterns before and after the EU regulation came into force).
Furthermore, the presentation explored the factors that will drive the Roaming industry in 2008; predominantly three areas – NRTRDE and hot billing, Open Connectivity and MVNOs. Further topics discussed were current and future roaming marketing examples (E.g. let an airline pay for the first call whilst in the airport).
