Public Relations Manager

Headquartered in Luxembourg, MACH has offices in 12 countries and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide serving over 650 Customers, including CSP's like Orange, Vodafone, TDC, Cable & Wireless, Verizon, Microsoft and Nokia, as well as enterprise messaging customers like KLM.

MACH is looking for an exceptional Public Relations Manager. The role is responsible for the development of positive relations with press, clients and strategic partners and will be based in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, we are seeking a dynamic professional who is both quality oriented and sales focused.

Job Description:
  • Prepare and edit publications for external audiences, including employee newsletters and stockholders' reports.
  • Respond to requests for information from the media and actively position press releases and success stories in the newswires through regular and intense communications with industry media and editors.
  • Ensure that the Company ‘message’ is cascaded through to the major target media using a ‘knowledge management’ approach to complement sales-led options. Topics to be aligned with campaigns and strategy. Manage all stages through to sign-off.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer and public interest groups.
  • Plan and direct development and communication of informational programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder perceptions of our organization's accomplishments and agenda.
  • Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for clients to increase product and service awareness and to promote goodwill.
  • Coach client representatives in effective communication with the public and therefore also prepare and deliver speeches to further public relations objectives.
  • Purchase advertising space and time as required to promote MACH’s product or agenda.
  • Manage, edit and produce the quarterly client newsletter sent to over 5,000 subscribers.
  • Manage and edit the public and private websites.
Required Skills and Background:
  • At least 5 years experience in press and industry media relations. Have a proven track record of successfully promoting companies and products.
  • Extensive proven experience in commercial writing and formulating of marketing messages.
  • Native English and proficiency in writing technical and commercial English. Any additional language is a plus.
  • Excellent B-2-B marketing skills.
  • Good project management skills
  • Creative, strong and effective interpersonal skills. We are looking for a ‘driver’, not a ‘passenger’.
  • Team player, quality oriented and reliable.

A valid work authorization for Luxembourg is required.
