Business Development Manager - Financial Clearing

MACH is looking for an experienced and professional Business Development Manager.

Job description

The role will focus upon business developing as well as servicing the existing MACH key accounts.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for closing new business including new and existing customers and partners. The responsibilities include opportunity identification, lead generation, qualify the opportunities, forging relationships, negotiating business terms, and managing ongoing relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strategic relationships and position MACH solutions to new/existing customers in
  • Build and manage business plan specifically on the mobile financial services domain.
  • Develop business initiatives, create new revenue streams and strategic partner development and management
  • Identify, define and qualify new Business Opportunities/ markets / segments and carrying out Market Research and hence creating high level growth impact
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers and influencers at target companies
  • Understand client’s strategic direction, product/business roadmap and business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage and administer accounts.
  • Follow up new business opportunities, plan and prepare presentations and meetings
  • Provide management with market feedback.
  • Review/maintain the partnership status, agreements, facilitate Business reviews and escalations
  • Help define new initiatives & technology by proactively work and interact with the Customers, Field Sales force and Product development teams geared toward generating interest among the target companies.

Required Skills and Background
  • At least 5 years of Business development experience in a fast-paced environment including relationship building at the executive levels and superior working relationships with key partners
  • Detailed understanding of Telecommunications markets and competitors’ products
  • Knowledgeable in banking, clearing and settlement, mobile payment or financial transactional services
  • Sound understanding of business and financial drivers and customer needs
  • University degree – MBA will be a plus
  • High level of professional and personal accountability.
  • Excellent communications skills, both writing and verbally. Enjoy networking and meeting new people.
  • Self-motivated and effective leader able to work as part of a team
  • Result-oriented, strong negotiation skills and persuasiveness
  • Good presentation and business value selling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time while traveling, multi-task between appointments and proposal and/or RFI/RFP deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Any additional language being a plus.

A valid work permit for Luxembourg is required.
