Job Description

MACH is looking for a Banking Analyst to support the existing Banking Relationship Manager in the day to day running of our Financial Clearing business activities. This involves maintaining documentation, handling any investigation matters that arise, managing the monthly settlement program and assisting in any settlement related tasks and processes. The job is based in our London office in Mansell Street.

Key Responsibilities

Support the financial Clearing & Settlement activity of our worldwide client base by ensuring timely billing and payments related to GSM roaming activity.

  • Adhere to, and strive to improve internal Key Performance Indicator’s regarding accuracy, quality and volumes processed.
  • Adhere to company SAS70 procedures and objectives.
  • Support and provide guidance to other team members.
  • Maintain bank relationships and adhere to documentation requirements such as KYC, Account opening etc.
  • Carry out the monthly settlement program
  • Monitor client bank accounts to ensure sufficient funding
  • Monitor Mach bank accounts and reconcile against the settlement activity
  • Ensure on time and error free payment process
  • Adhere to internal controls surrounding the FX and settlement activity
  • Carry out the day to day operations of the Banking activity
Required Skills and Background
  • At least 2 years experience in an Investment Banking operational environment essential.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English with any additional languages being a plus;
  • Fluency with all MS Office tools, including PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience of working in a deadline orientated environment.
  • Ability to show initiative and manage the workload accordingly.
  • Structured; results oriented and quality focused.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

A valid work permit for England is required.
