MACH was born as a result of the merger in 2004 between MACH and Dan Net. IBM and TDC founded Dan Net as a joint venture in Denmark in 1987. MACH was founded in 1989 by the Millicom Group in Luxembourg.

In 2005 MACH was acquired by Warburg Pincus, one of the world's leading private equity firms.



In May 2007, Cibernet merged with MACH to form one organisation. MACH is known in North America as MACH Cibernet.

With approximately 700 employees and offices in 11 countries throughout the World – Brazil, Denmark, Germany, India, Luxembourg, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, the U.K. and the U.S.; we combine global expertise and operations with local knowledge in each of our markets. MACH is headquartered in Luxembourg.
