MACH is looking for an IREG Manager and 'Troubleshooter' to further develop its Client Training & Consulting Department.

With more than 10 years of experience within the GSM Clearing Business, MACH is a competent partner in providing several ranges of consultancy services related to many parts of the international roaming business. MACH Consult services are provided by people who have been working in various parts of the roaming environment on the operator side, for many years.
MACH Expert Consultants provide Mobile Operators with support for various activities such as:
- Roaming Department Formation.
- On-site IREG Testing.
- GPRS Roaming Implementation.
- Hands-on IREG/TADIG Test Training.
You will be responsible (in close co-operation with your manager and direct colleagues) for the IREG Testing and Troubleshooting delivery projects of MACH Clients.
The role
You will be based in Luxembourg/Contern and you will work closely with worldwide mobile operators. English is our corporate language. Please note that a valid work permit for Luxembourg is required. This position also requires extensive international travel (short and mid-term projects).
Responsibilities include
Support Operator in Network Configuration for roaming (populate information into our Clients' Systems.
Perform IREG testing on all services (GSM (IR24), GPRS (IR35), CAMEL (IR32,IR60), 3G, 3.5G, CS and PS).
Complete IR documents required for IREG Testing completion.
Escalate issues to Operators Network Engineering.
Troubleshoot on IREG/Network Issues (identify though SS7 traces, the node in the network that is at fault, should an IREG test fail or a roaming fault be reported to the Client).
Transfer knowledge at the Client side.
Coordinate IREG Activities with our manufacturer/partners and Client teams (including Tests scheduling and SIM exchange).
IR21 implementation in roaming database.

Your competencies
Minimum 3 years experience as an IREG Tester and/or Network Engineer.
Strong knowledge on Core Network Management and design.
GSM Association IREG Delegate, Signalling and Packet Working Groups Member (strongly appreciated).
Project coordination experience.
Your profile
Fluency in English is essential; any other language skills would be a definite advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-organised personality.
Strongly willing to travel (2 weeks/month minimum).
Flexible, professional, detail-oriented and accurate; you can work independently.
